Brabourne and Smeeth Playing Field Association was set up as a charity to maintain and improve the playing field donated by Lord Brabourne in 1953 for the parishioners of Smeeth and Brabourne. The Association maintains and improves the facilities,raises funds for maintenance and new equipment and has the support of both village parish councils. The Playing Field and play equipment area is a well used and important community asset.
